The bug is 5 years old, marked as always reproducible. This is the first contact I have with any devs, they did not try it out and they say, I should re-try by myself... Needless to say, withing those 5 years, I have long ago switched to clementine (which is way more reliable), and I even started my own media player application (as I am still not satisfy with any app) that will send amarok and Co 6 feet deep. Open your eyes, amarok is dead because the developers have killed it. If you want to develop things for KDE, then it is very much appreciated, but instead of trying to do some resucitation of amarok, just go help out at clementine, it is reliable, good, and still they will need your help ;) Revival of Amarok is among the worst thing that could happen to KDE honestly.
