For Sony Xperia XA2 (running Jolla Sailfish) I had to use the bind/add
workaround, plus to add an entry for the device as follows:
# SONY Xperia XA2 MTP
ATTR{idVendor}=="0fce", ATTR{idProduct}=="0a07", SYMLINK+="libmtp-%k",
MODE="660", GROUP="audio", ENV{ID_MTP_DEVICE}="1", ENV{ID_MEDIA_PLAYER}="1"
Debian testing is still shipping libmpt 1.1.13, so it didn't get upstream fixes
yet.
