--- Comment #4 from amartyobaner...@yahoo.com --- I upgraded the packages on the Gentoo system. Kdenlive is now at the latest version. 'equery l -p kdenlive' now shows 'kde-apps/kdenlive-18.08.3:5'. The bug is now fixed. Starting the program and selecting quit from the menu no longer causes a segfault, and drkonqi no longer is automatically triggered.
