Bug ID: 401997 Summary: Allow to thread messages by references Product: kmail2 Version: 5.9.2 Platform: Debian testing OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: message list Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: charlemagnela...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Many systems to track bugs (like redmine, jira or as it looks also bugzilla) don't reference the last message generated for the ticket nor an actual message in the ticket. But they keep a stable References: field But kmail is not showing them as thread when setting View -> Message List -> Aggregation to "Current Activity, Threaded". This makes it extremely hard to follow multiple ticket activities in kmail2 Btw. the version number was just guessed. I have no idea what version number kmail2 from 4:18.08.1-1 in Debian has. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. receive multiple messages from redmine 3/jira (from different tickets but at least two from the same ticket) 2. move them all to a single folder 3. switch folder to "Current Activity, Threaded" OBSERVED RESULT The view is still not threaded but flat and ordered by data and not by the ticket. EXPECTED RESULT A thread is created based on the references/In-Reply-To information. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
