It simply is one of math - we have a very very limited amount of devs, very few
people from the community helping out meaning that even smaller issues becomes
things that soak up time for everyone.

The theme editor didn't work well enough to be included with a good conscience
and currently the best method is one where you use the Plasma-SDK package to
check, blend and test themes (the Theme Explorer specifically) - granted I too
want a better situation where perhaps we could have a "theme creator" as an
application or something. But that has to be a future choice and one based on
whether there are people enough to do it. Having a Plasma desktop starting,
working as expected, systemtray etc is more relevant than the theme editor
which is harsh but the truth.

Love sadly is no match against "manpower", "time" and "developer fatigue"
