--- Comment #4 from Mirco Massone <ghigoma...@gmail.com> ---
The process of two-star alignment is the standard for this telescope, and, net
of initial corrections due, to put the celestial object in the center of the
field of view, alignment activity always ends successfully.
I noticed that the error appears as soon as I try to point an object, and
accidentally, the error reports, a little earlier, the Universal date, exactly
one hour behind my time zone.
Unfortunately, however, I verify that kstars regularly records my local date
and time. But then it would seem to always refer to UT, universal time of
Greenwich.
I'm now mounting the telescope again, to re-check when you've suggested.
So I can send some photos of what happens to me, and also the log, which I have
made verbose and regularly recorded on file.
As soon as I have all the material I send it to you here.
This is the log recorded when the error came out yesterday:
2018-12-30T18: 20: 35: [WARNING] Could not process mount date and time:: GCT00:
00: 00
2018-12-30T18: 20: 35: [WARNING] Failed to get site latitude from device.
2018-12-30T18: 20: 35: [ERROR] Failed to get tracking frequency from device.
2018-12-30T18: 20: 35: [ERROR] Failed to retrieve time format from device.
In the error message, however, the date was correct, but the time was exactly
one hour behind.
I wait impatiently, for now thank you.
