Bug ID: 402979 Summary: Can't rename album in collection on NTFS usb drive Product: digikam Version: 5.9.0 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: and...@alweb.dk Target Milestone: --- Trying to rename an album which is in a collection on a NTFS usb drive, I get an error dialog saying "can't rename album". The album is renamed in digikam, and if I navigate away from it and back, it shows empty. Renaming it back causes the same error dialog, though the album name is changed again, and now images becomes visible. The drive is correctly mounted read-write, and I can rename albums in dolphin, but that of cause means loss of metadata. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. mount a NTFS USB drive with a collection 2. go to an album on it, and press SHIFT + F2, enter a new name and hit RETURN 3. OBSERVED RESULT Error dialog, read above. EXPECTED RESULT things to work. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: MacOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: latest, archlinux fully up to date (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: as above KDE Frameworks Version: as above Qt Version: as above ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
