SUMMARY
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click File > Open.
2. Navigate to an *.xcf file.
3. Try to open it.
OBSERVED RESULT
It does not open and there's an error message that kolourpaint cannot not open
*.xcf files.
EXPECTED RESULT
kolourpaint should open *.xcf files ( made in Gimp ) so I can save it as *.png,
as it did in the previous version.

Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon with kde-runtime
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I have to boot Mint 18.3 ( other partition ) to use the previous version for
*.xcf processing.
