I use the magnitism slider quite a bit! The fine granularity may not be
necessary, but adjusting this value is great for preventing the super strict
"ruler look" and for adding a human touch to a long straight line, while still
maintaining controlled strokes. Mostly I use it with vanishing point and
parallell rulers though, where the magnetism doesn't create offsets like that.

Is it possible to give magnetism reduce it's influence outside of a distance to
a ruler item?

Or would a quickfix be just to give it it's own label?
