da...@balch.co.uk changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |da...@balch.co.uk --- Comment #4 from da...@balch.co.uk --- Hi, Thanks for all your efforts making Kdenlive such a great tool! I have another use case for this issue... Unless I'm missing some aspect of the Library feature, it's not possible to use it to copy an editable sequence of clips, effects, & transitions to a new project. I can use it to copy a sequence and load it into another project as single unit - but not edit it in the new project. I had created three different projects destined to be connected together live with some other tools, but the needs changed such that I wanted to put them all together in one project and re-edit them. As it stands I'll probably end up re-editing them in the original projects and then using the Library, but this is a rather awkward workflow. At a deeper UX level, not being able to just copy a chunk of timeline, copy it, then paste into the project where I want it is surprising and annoying. I imagine that this would be pretty complicated to implement (ensuring all relevant data is included, and ids are adjusted to avoid clashes, etc.), whilst the Library sort-of covers this situation, so understand that it won't be a high priority - but just wanted to note that there would be value in implementing it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
