            Bug ID: 403462
Summary: Text selection changes wrongly when more lines than
what the window shows are selected
           Product: konsole
           Version: 18.12.1
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: copy-paste
          Assignee: konsole-de...@kde.org
          Reporter: facu...@taniquetil.com.ar
  Target Milestone: ---

Trying to select more history than what is shown changes initial selection.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a new terminal
2. Create a history longer in lines than the window's height.
3. Select a couple of lines from the bottom of the window
4. Scroll the window a couple of "pages" up
5. With Shift pressed, click on any part of the window

OBSERVED RESULT

The original selection changes, now starting in where it was just clicked, but
ending in a line at the bottom of the shown windows. The whole selection is
included in the current shown lines.

EXPECTED RESULT

The original selection should change, now starting in where it was just
clicked, but ending at the end of the original selection. The whole selection
is across history lines that are larger than what the current window shows.

NOTE: the similar behaviour happens if you start the selection in the beginning
of the history, scroll down, shift+click in a lower part...
