STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start Gnome Wayland session
2. open an app installed via flatpak (I have VLC and VidCutter from flathub
here)
3. check cpu usage of xdg-desktop-portal-kde process
OBSERVED RESULT
xdg-desktop-portal-kde process uses an entire cpu core, see my screenshot.
EXPECTED RESULT
normal cpu usage

The problem does not occur under Gnome X11 sesison
