                    character sets
           Product: kate
           Version: 18.12.2

  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Visual appearance of files with different character sets may have a reduced
text readability.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open an document with Roman characters in one line and both Roman and Asian
ones in the next line. (E. g. this one:
https://github.com/QMatrixClient/libqmatrixclient/blob/master/mime/packages/freedesktop.org.xml).

OBSERVED RESULT
Some lines are overlapping, different characters crossing.

EXPECTED RESULT
The lines are separated vertically by a free space and all characters have
their own space, do not cross.
