I did manage to get it to work by using a different graphics setting for my monitor displays but- it still doesn't work the way it did when I first used it. and it doesn't work the way it works in the tutorials. The machine is a ASUS M32, Intel i7 4790s, 16gb DD#3 ram, Nvidia Geforce GTX750 Graphics card. I am running Linux Mint 18.3 Sylvia. I tried upgrading to Mint 19, but ran into configuration issues. My hunch is the Kdenlive app has a conflict with my Graphics driver.
