I also have a crash.
What I did: First crash I had after last update on Manjaro and restart. I could
see my desktop for a second and then screen went black and only mouse cursor
was visible.
The solution was to remove applet setting file:
cd .config
mv plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc
02plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc
My desktop look was messed up. All applets and panel was gone.
I set it again to my liking.
The situation happened again when I clicked on calendar and I clicked on
options: make holidays visible and show week numbers and ok. And this crashed
plasma and again only black screen and mouse cursor is visible.
I did it twice so I am sure that calendar crashes plasma.
I wanted to restart plasma with command
kquitapp5 plasmashell && kstart5 plasmashell
and I attach file with terminal output.
