With the 1 line TextElideMode change above, combined with the change from https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=401864, when there are 24 open tabs, I can now see "...<8 characters>" on a tab title, compared to just "...<5 characters>" with konsole 18.08.3.
