A few releases ago, the pop-up only did show packages to remove, which resulted
in extremely scary situations like this:

The following packages will be removed:
* Plasma-desktop


By displaying the added packages, we made it instead say:

The following packages will be removed:
* Plasma-desktop

The following packages will be added:
* Plasma-desktop-whatever


...Which made it easy to see that nothing was actually being removed, it's just
that a package was basing renamed or something. However I can see how this
causes a UX regression when the a replacement or removal transaction also
includes a lot of added packages. Sort of a tricky problem. Like you suggest,
maybe we could make it say:


The following packages will be added:
* package1
* package2
* package3
* package3
* package5
