I can't go back now to check it, because of some dependencies, but I'm quite sure this feature was working with kdenlive version 18.12.3 I just updated my system but I've neither installed nor removed any 'plug-ins'. I didn't upgrade it between the two dates but this must have gone wrong somewhere around here.
