SUMMARY
Scaling with the transform tool deletes the selection. Sometimes it'll work but
most of the time it doesn't.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. make a selection with lasso, box, circle etc.
2. transform (ctrl+t)
3. scale
4. press enter
OBSERVED RESULT
the selected pixels are deleted
EXPECTED RESULT
scale transformation
