I just tested the same scenario (VirtualBox, Linux guest, Windows host, NTFS
shared folder mounted as vboxsf), and dolphin doesn't hang anymore. This is
very likely because KLockFile no longer exists in KF5, and has been replaced
with the (completely rewritten) Qt5's QLockFile.
There are other issues with this setup (messageboxes about not preserving
permissions when copying files onto the shared folder), which I'm going to look
into, but that's another bug.
