The issue appears to be caused by https://github.com/qt/qtbase/commit/461ef575bcf778ba24b0be6b775098d4b80ae5e1 . STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Configure akonadi to use PostgreSQL. 2. run `akonadictl start`.
