--- Comment #3 from Jacob <dustr...@protonmail.com> --- Sorry for the delay. This is my first go around with KDE Plasma so I've been reading a lot of documentation. Unfortunately, I do not have drkonqi crash handler working on my system (not sure if openSUSE disables this in favor of their own crash handler) but was able to get some more detailed information within the crash logs openSUSE has provided. When attempting to run Discover from the terminal with root privilege, I get the following printout: ~>sudo plasma-discover qt.qpa.xcb: could not connect to display qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "" even though it was found. error: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set in the environment. Failed to create wl_display (No such file or directory) qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "wayland" in "" even though it was found. This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. Available platform plugins are: wayland-org.kde.kwin.qpa, eglfs, linuxfb, minimal, minimalegl, offscreen, vnc, wayland-egl, wayland, wayland-xcomposite-egl, wayland-xcomposite-glx, xcb.
