Multi-Monitor has been a basketcase since 4.0, issues set to "won't fix" there, efforts in 5 still remain broken, maybe this is something we can hope for in 6.0, finally. I tried a fresh 5.15.5 of kde with my arch desktop with last pacman -Syu, it lasted 20 minutes before crashing horribly at the DE with 3x 4k displays. Usually I get at least a few days, it regresses worse now. I use kde with my laptop on arch too using kde 5.15 too, and the compositor uses a ton of resources, power, etc running off the intel gpu that I'm considering moving to mate there too for lag and general unfriendliness even on a single 4k display. KDE hates ultra high-res displays, particularly 3 of them.
