Kubuntu 19.10 is based on: Plasma: 5.16.5 Qt: 5.12.4 This bug is reported as fixed in 5.16.2 and Qt 5.12.4. I checked git history and I don't see Erik's commit in Qt 5.12.4 branch: https://github.com/qt/qtbase/blob/5.12.4/src/plugins/platforms/xcb/gl_integrations/xcb_glx/qglxintegration.cpp. Qt 5.12.5 instead seems to include it: https://github.com/qt/qtbase/blob/5.12.5/src/plugins/platforms/xcb/gl_integrations/xcb_glx/qglxintegration.cpp. I applied Erik's patch to Qt again and problem seems fixed so far.
