Bug ID: 414059 Summary: Display order does not persist after reboot on a igp + gpu setup Product: KScreen Version: 5.17.2 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: kcm Assignee: kscreen-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: qlum...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 123857 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=123857&action=edit Picture of the correct setup babove and below te setup after reboot. SUMMARY Every time I reboot, the order of my displays gets changed, from 5 displays next to each other to one display on the left and the other 4 having 100% overlap. I attached a screenshot of the before and after reboot. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. change the order of the displays, so they are all next to each other 2. reboot OBSERVED RESULT All but the far left display overlap 100% EXPECTED RESULT The display order / position is the same as before the reboot. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.64 Qt Version: 5.13.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I am running a combination of the integrated intel graphics and an amd gpu (r7 250x). The center 3 displays are connected to the amd gpu and the outer 2 displays are connected to the intel integrated graphics. I suspect this is where the problem occurs. I have not tested this on anything but kde and xorg. (haven't bothered looking at how to configure my setup with 2 gpu's in wayland where it works out of the box in xorg) PS if there is anything I could have done better in this report please say so. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
