In digikam it is possible to move files and folders around, by drag and drop.
But doing so leads to DATA LOSS, as digikam fails to update its database when
files are moved FROM WITHIN DIGIKAM. Lost data includes ANY metadata in the
digikam database.
THAT SUCKS.
Apart from the data deletion, digikam also does not provide progress
information during moving files. Not a problem while moving one or even a few
files, but duging moving many (like 1000s) files, this leads to a riske of FILE
LOSS.
THAT SUCKS TOO.
