Bug ID: 414756 Summary: Privacy improvement Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: iguanamiy...@yahoo.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 124267 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=124267&action=edit Similar feature in Unity Currently, at “System Settings” > “Workspace” > “Workspace Behavior” > “Activities” > “Privacy”, there's an option to select certain apps for tracking their history, but I would propose an additional category for files. Unity has a similar feature (see attached). I would propose the "Don't record activity for following type of files" and "Don't record activity in the following folders") that would filter out history entries accordingly. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start at an "Application Launcher" widget 2. Click "History" OBSERVED RESULT There is no way to filter out certain file types, or specific folders. EXPECTED RESULT I would expect such privacy setting in KDE. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro KDE KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.64.0 Qt Version: 5.13.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
