            Bug ID: 414761
Summary: placement of plasmoids is wrong after turning screen
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.17.3
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Desktop Containment
          Assignee: se...@kde.org

plasmoids before (left) and after (right) twice rotations

SUMMARY
If you place some plasmoids over the desktop (more than one half of it), the
rotate the screen in the settings, then rotate it back (as it is the case for
example in hybrid-laptops), the plasmoid are wrongly placed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add multiple plasmoids on desktop (more than one half of the desktop)
2. rotate screen by 90 degree
3. rotate screen by -90 degree

OBSERVED RESULT
the plasmoids placement is wrong. They are placed realte to what they are in
the current screen rotation mode, which is not like they were placed before the
first rotation (see pictures)

EXPECTED RESULT
The plasmoids should be placed like they were before the first rotation.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.64.0
Qt Version: 5.13.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Placement works correctly, if plasmois are placed only in the lower half of the
screen.
