SUMMARY
Updated from 4.2.7.1 to 4.2.8 unable to open. User Receives "not responding"
and application never loads
Update occurred after Widows update around 8pm est on 12/7/2019
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Reverted to 4.1.7 works. Updated to 4.2.6 user receives "not responding"
2. Reinstalled all drivers of GPU application still receives "not responding"

Greetings, I need to report an issue, I have recently updated krita in 2 ways
in attempt to get this to work. I have it through the MS store and the exe
file. After a small windows update last night. I attempted to open the
application and it goes into "not responding". Can you help?

we confirmed that v4.1.7 works for me however anything after 4.2 doesn't for
some reason i keep getting a not responding when opening. this just started
last night and i was running a 4.2 version before this happened

Asuna: do you know what DebugView is? It would be really helpful if you could
check opening Krita with it

Asuna: you can try reinstalling the driver, even if it's the latest version - I
needed to do that recently after Windows Update as well
