Bug ID: 415147 Summary: Turning on blur background in konsole under wayland displays the blurred content next to the actual window Product: konsole Version: master Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: konsole-de...@kde.org Reporter: garaba.flor...@protonmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 124476 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=124476&action=edit Image of the bug SUMMARY Turning on blur background in konsole under wayland displays the blurred content next to the actual window STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start plasma under wayland 2. Edit konsole's current profile to enable background blur and set some translucency OBSERVED RESULT A new rectangular region appears next to the window with minor overlap with the original, blurring the content underneath it. By moving the window around, the blur region moves by a different amount, so it is likely to be due to some offset error. Maximizing the window results in the desired effect. EXPECTED RESULT Blurring should happen 'under' the actual window SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.65.0 Qt Version: 5.13.2 Konsole Version: 20.03.70 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
