As Face Tags are an extension of Regular Tags, we can already assign manually
an icon to Peoples tree-view items, using drag and drop from icon view.
By this way, if we can automatize this property at a face tag creation, this
will solve this file. There is nothing special to re-invent. All is already in
place technically. Just the automated icon assignment must be done.
Look my example taken under Windows 10 where i just drag and drop a face from
icon-view to face tags tree-view :
