file with widget settings

I disconnected one of the monitor from my PC and then reconnected. From the
desktop, which was previously displayed on a disabled monitor, all widgets
disappeared, but they are in the settings. I cannot remove them using the GUI
settings and cannot move them to the current desktop. This behavior does not
occur every time.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Disable one of the monitors.
2. Reconnect.
3. Watch a reset settings of one of the desktops

OBSERVED RESULT

One of the desktops reset. (This does not always happen.)
There are no widgets on any desktop, but in the settings they are listed as
active.

EXPECTED RESULT

The settings of one of the desktops were restored as they were before the
monitor was turned off.
