I have found a workaround for this issue with editing clip duration as well as
editing clip speed.
Creating and using keyboard shortcuts (Settings / Configure Shortcuts) to these
commands allows editing of the various values. Right clicking into these
commands still will not allow editing the value after adding shortcuts.
