--- Comment #3 from adamska...@gmail.com --- I actually made this theme and I have made no changes to it in months. I have remembered something else that should be very relevant. This first appeared when I opened the left panel settings. It is the same shadow that appears when going into editing mode. However after closing the panel menu, the shadow persisted. In fact if I open the settings of the top panel you can see that the two shadows are identical. However the top panel reverts to the normal panel shadow from my theme.
