Bug ID: 416194 Summary: The Power Management Service appears not to be running Product: Powerdevil Version: unspecified Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: kos...@koshka.ddns.net Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 125074 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=125074&action=edit tray itself SUMMARY Sometimes after reboot or waking my laptop from sleep I notice that battery and brightness indicator is missing. At the same time System Settings Power management page has a message "The Power Management Service appears not to be running" (see screenshots). It happened to me on Kubuntu 18.04 and I see it time after time on the latest KDE Neon. I googled but couldn't find a way to run required service manually. I even didn't understand which service it is (upower seems to be running). The only way I can solve this problem is logout and login again, which is sad. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
