Bug ID: 418083 Summary: Discover does not list Snap apps when we browse through the apps nor when we search for their names. But Discover lists them when we search for "snap". Product: Discover Version: unspecified Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Snap Backend Assignee: lei...@leinir.dk Reporter: bugsefor...@gmx.com CC: aleix...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. open Discover 2. click on "Applications" in the side bar 3. set sorting by name 4. scroll through available apps and find one that is available in Snap package. Audacity audio editor, for example. You will notice that only flatpak package and the package from distro repos are listed. 5. now search for "audacity": again Discover only lists the flatpak package and the package from distro repos in search results. 6. now search for "snap": scroll through the search results and you will find the snap version of Audacity. EXPECTED RESULT Discover should list Snap apps when we browse through the apps available and when we search for their names.
