That button on your pen is the equivalent of a mouse right-click.
Does your mouse behave well when you use it to bring up the popup palette in
this way?
If you go to Settings -> Configure Krita -> Tablet settings then press the
large Open Tablet Tester buttonm you'll get the tablet tester window. Resize it
to make it large and useful. Hover your pen over the grid area and press your
button-2. You should get a continuous stream of records with B=2 (due to slight
movements of your pen). If you quickly release button-2 and then press it
again, you should get a single B=0 record before the repeated B=2 records begin
again.
