Dear Developers,
I am a happy long-time user of Kde and Kile but since my last upgrade to the
LTS version 18.04 I have a problem with kile: the default packages contain the
kile 3 beta 1 version which is not working properly.
In Synaptic, I've tried the "Force version" solution to get back to Kile 2,
which was working great, but there does not seem to be another version
available than Kile 3.
Would it be possible to get back to a stable version of Kile, which seems more
appropriate for a LTS distribution?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Kubuntu 18.04
2. Install Kile
3. Run kile
OBSERVED RESULT
A buggy beta version starts
EXPECTED RESULT
A stable version would be much better
