Figured out the problem. My kscreenlockerrc has this in it:
[Greeter][Wallpaper][org.kde.slideshow][General]
Image=file:///home/nate/Pictures/For the desktop/Fluorescence.jpg
SlideInterval=60
SlidePaths=/home/nate/Pictures/For the desktop
Removing the Image= key solves the problem.
