In recent versions of Krusader (almost any modern distro), you can press Ctrl+M
(configurable shortcut) to popup the media button where you can choose the
partition. The Media Button is visible by default, but can be hidden in
Konfigurator.
Network connections can be accessed from the location bar (just beneath the
Media Button), under the Network sub-menu, at the moment there is no shortcut
from keyboard; you can also type "remote:/" in the the location bar. You cannot
create a new connection from Krusader (there is another bug pending on it),
this can be done from Dolphin. Credentials are held in Kwallet, so Krusader
won't ask for them.
