            Bug ID: 420856
Summary: Infinite stream of notifications that cannot be shut
                    up
           Product: kio-extras
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: SFTP
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: ergonomic.c...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Infinite stream of notifications that cannot be shut up

1. When working with a remote network folder, Dolphin + kioexec constantly
alerts you about a successful connection. This notification cannot be disabled.
2. At the same time, when he displays a notification, he will not update the
data with the current directory. That is, if I opened the folder an hour ago
and the files in it changed, I will see outdated data.
3. Dolphin + kioexec caches the contents of the folder. What misleads the user.
I think that with my 100 Mb / s Internet, I can afford to see real data when I
open the path.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open a network folder in Dolphin.
2. Surf Dolphin and wait a couple of minutes.
3. Expand Dolphin and see two notifications of a successful connection.

OBSERVED RESULT
1. Unable to manage messages from Dolphin + kioexec.
2. The contents of the folder after the message are not updated.
3. Caching the contents of the folder.

EXPECTED RESULT
1. Ability to configure notifications from KIOexec. I highly believe that he
will be removed forever. This is the most monstrous part of KDE that mocks the
user every time.
2. If the connection is checked, then why not update the contents of the
directory?
3. Add the ability to disable network folder caching.
