This probably means the operation "copy_selection_to_new_layer" is asyncronous,
or it needs the gui to finalize some events. In any case this is not a bug in
krita, but perhaps a missing documentation on doxygen.
Add "ad.waitForDone()" after the action "copy_selection_to_new_layer" and the
script will work as expected.
