Bug ID: 421455 Summary: Lots of segmentation fault while „removing space” Product: kdenlive Version: 20.04.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: User Interface Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: had...@danisch.de Target Milestone: --- Hi, I just used the latest appimage 20.04.0b on Ubuntu 18.04 to produce a video, but had plenty of segmentation fault crashes, unfortunately not really reproducable. But always after same actions: I had recorded a loooong video talking into the camera, with lots of flaws and retries, so it was necessary to chop the long video into lots of pieces and to drop many of them. Same procedure: have the long video in the timeline on V1 and A1 (sometimes, but not always with some title in front on V2), then setting two cuts. Selecting the segment between the cuts, pressing the delete key to drop that segment. Select the new gap and press CTRL-< to remove the space. Most of the time this worked, but many times kdenlive crashed and terminated (twice: froze) immediately when pressing CTRL-<. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. See above, not really reproducable 2. 3.
