The "view document" button should become inaccessible in case an invalid URL or
filename is entered. I would need to have more information such an example for
which 'incorrect file link' this test fails.
Then, in case the editing element thinks it has recognized an URL to open, the
actual opening is delegated to the KDE subsystem which determines which program
to use to open the URL, e.g. your browser or Okular. KBibTeX does not receive
any feedback if this external process succeeds or fails.
