            Bug ID: 422288
Summary: Muon should have a command line option to select
                    specified packages for installation
           Product: muon
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: muon
          Assignee: echidna...@kubuntu.org
          Reporter: thomas.friedrichsme...@ruhr-uni-bochum.de
                CC: silh...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

For RKWard I am currently working on a "wizard" to look for some optional but
recommended external software. I would love for that wizard to be able to offer
to install the software in question mostly automagically.

I was hoping to be able to utilize muon for this (if available), but to my
disappointment, there does not seem to be a commandline option to select one or
more packages for installation. Something like

  muon install kbibtex okular

Obviously, package names may differ across distributions, but in many cases I
imagine the above could work out of the box, and would be very useful, indeed.
