Bug ID: 422912 Summary: Be able to give focus to the main view after going to Location bar with Ctrl+L Product: dolphin Version: 19.12.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: bars: location Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: codestr...@posteo.org CC: kfm-de...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- I happen to find myself navigating through files with keys and then I would like to copy the current directory location to use it elsewhere. For this task I press Ctrl+L to focus the location bar and use Ctrl+C to copy the location string. Later, I would like to continue navigating through the files. Currently, I see no easy way to go back to the main view using the keyboard. WORKAROUND: use the mouse to focus the main view. What I would expect: - Press Esc goes from location bar edit mode to breadcrumb mode. - Press Esc again goes from breadcrumb mode to main view focus. Alternatively: - Currently, Ctrl+L cycles between location bar edit mode and breadcrumb mode. Maybe, the 'main view focus' could be part of this cycle. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
