Bug ID: 363921 Summary: Canvas is darkened and locked from further editing or saving, after leaving/re-entering virtual desktop Product: krita Version: 3.0 Platform: Ubuntu Packages URL: http://orig11.deviantart.net/08ac/f/2016/155/f/d/scree nshot_from_2016_06_03_19_48_30_by_mr_glaceon-da505uj.p ng OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: critical Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: mr.glac...@gmail.com As the summary implies, this version of Krita hosts a nasty bug, and this has persisted since the release candidates. Surprisingly, minimizing the program's window or its window focus isn't affected by this bug. After replicating these steps, (Such as entering a different virtual desktop to change music, or search on Firefox for reference images, then going back to Krita.) it's not possible to continue editing or save my progress, because of an error that says, "Waiting for image operation to complete...". I'm not too salty about it, since I have 2.9 to go back to, but I can't fully move to 3.0 until this is diagnosed. Is this specific to Ubuntu Unity, or does it affect all desktop environments? I'm sure Windows or Mac users don't have to worry about this issue. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a new or existing file 2. Enter another virtual desktop 3. Return to the desktop Krita is on Actual Results: Krita is unable to edit or save anything, and it hangs or crashes outright if I attempt to close the project file without saving. Expected Results: The obvious! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
