--- Comment #79 from Harald Sitter <sit...@kde.org> --- Actually on second thought we'll not need gdb at all - close all running instances of dolphin - open ksysguard - search for 'thumb' - if thumbnail or thumbnail.so or anything similar is running make sure to terminate it before proceeding - once it is closed, run - KDE_FORK_SLAVES=1 dolphin --new-window /the/path/of/our/mount - scroll around a bit - check ksysguard again - if thumbnail.so is running (again) then previews are being generated somehow should thumbnail.so not get started again then previews are disabled otherwise they somehow are enabled (in which case we know its the previewing starving the IO). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
