            Bug ID: 364079
Summary: "Touchpad has been disabled because a mouse is plugged
in" shows up even when there is no touchpad device
                    connected
           Product: Touchpad-KCM
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm
          Assignee: rajeeshknamb...@gmail.com
          Reporter: samanthamc...@protonmail.com

Version is 5.6.4 (Would select it but it is not an option in the version list)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Enable the option "Disable touchpad when mouse is plugged in"
2. Disable the trackpad using the BIOS
3. Reboot and then Login to your KDE User

Actual Results:
When logging in to KDE Plasma the message "Touchpad has been disabled because a
mouse is plugged in" shows up even though there is no touchpad device anymore.
Going to the touchpad settings and trying to turn off the feature "Disable
touchpad when mouse is plugged in", is not possible because "No touchpad found"

Expected Results:
When logging in to KDE Plasma and there is NO touchpad,
either:
--Do not show "Touchpad has been disabled because a mouse is plugged in"
OR alternatively (not sure this is the best option, maybe best to hide the
message if no touchpad?
--Allow the ability to unset the disabling of the touchpad even if no touchpad
is detected.

Workaround is reenable the touchpad in BIOS and then unset this setting, though
I think there are probably some use cases where a touchpad may not be built
into a computer where this bug may be triggered as well, or if touchpad breaks
etc.
