Not having found this bugreport I have posted on on my own, which I will mark as duplicate to this one: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=426076 OBSERVED RESULT: only when $ZDOTDIR is set the sourcing fails. When manually sourcing in the konsole panel it works as expected. Standalone Konsole works as expected.
